ITERACID L-12 SMART

Liquid emulsifier for the production of cationic bitumen emulsions, based on a mixture of ethoxylated amino derivatives. Dissolved in acidified water, it stabilises hot bitumen as a positively charged emulsion that breaks rapidly on contact with the aggregate, which makes it especially suitable for tack coats and surface treatments. Compatible with latexes for the production of elastomerised (polymer-modified) emulsions.

Application: Bitumen emulsion production plants. Typical dosage is 0.25-0.6% by weight of the emulsion, set by laboratory tests for each intended use.
