SUPERPLAST

Polymeric compound of plastomeric polymers for the dry-process modification of asphalt mixes (PMA technology). The semi-soft grey granules are added directly into the asphalt plant mixer onto the hot aggregate, where they melt into the binder. The result is a polymer-modified mix produced from ordinary neat bitumen, with no need for PMB tanks, dedicated transport or storage.

Application: All asphalt concretes that need higher mechanical performance: highways, airports, heavy-traffic roads, bus lanes and parking areas. Added to the mixer at 4-10% by weight of bitumen; the mix is produced at 170-180 °C.
